In the 14th chapter of John, Jesus told His disciples that they could ask anything of the Father in His name and it would be given to them. As brothers and sisters in Christ, this promise is ours as well.

Please join the residents of College Hill, Lutheran Housing Support, The College Hill Foundation and The Campaign for College Hill for a “Prayer and Praise Walk” from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014.

The walk will begin in front of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2137 E. John Ave., St. Louis, and will be led by LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison. Participants will commence the walk from in front of St. Paul Lutheran, walking and praying throughout the community, until reaching the new construction building site of the Nazareth Homes development — part of a full-scale neighborhood revitalization initiative spearheaded by Lutheran Housing Support.

Please come and put your faith into action and lift up your prayers for this community plagued by social and economic challenges. If you are unable to join us, will you please place this neighborhood and Lutheran Housing Support’s efforts in your prayers?
