Thank you!

handsfeet

Dear LCMS Colleagues and Friends,

You were the hands and feet of Christ at Bryan Hill School on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Whether you mixed batter, helped flip pancakes, prepared plates filled with nutritious food, or delivered them to our guests: you were the hands and feet of Christ!

If you played the role of Santa or were one of Santa’s helpers, greeting children and their parents and the door, or otherwise helping shepherd them around Bryan Hill School: you were the hands and feet of Christ!

You may have donated a gift, organized them, stood watch over them, or helped to make sure every child received a gift: you were the hands and feet of Christ!

Dancing, bouncing, crafting, painting, or socializing: you were the hands and feet of Christ!

For this we not only offer you our thanks, we give God thanks and praise for you, God’s means of grace in this world.

By the numbers, more than 60 volunteers served more than 100 children and nearly 50 parents!   Your hard work and contributions to the Breakfast with Santa event in College Hill made the event a fabulous success. We want to especially thank Captain Ryan Cousins and the many officers from the 6th District of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department who joined us for the event.

One important goal this year: a toy to every child in attendance. With your help, we accomplished that and then some. The remaining toys and games were donated to the Queen of Peace House in College Hill.  Queen of Peace is a shelter for mothers recovering from drug addiction and their children.

Your continued support and prayers are greatly appreciated!

Advent blessings,

NTRSig

Chief Executive
